Sunday
A cloudy and rather damp start to the day over England, Wales and Ireland. There will be outbreaks of rain, with the more persistent probably over Northern Ireland, north Wales and parts of the northern Midlands. To the south the rain will be lighter and more patchy. However, not everywhere is cloudy with some brighter spells in the southwest. Scotland is going to be brighter with the best of the sunshine in the west, and some more cloud in the east. The rain will be fading away through this afternoon, although much of England, Wales and Ireland stay fairly cloudy. A few bright or sunny spells moving through southern parts of England, where it will become very warm. Brighter over Scotland with sunny spells, the best in the west. A breezy day everywhere, and feeling cold in the wind through northern England and southern Scotland. High temperatures at 15C in the sunshine to the south, 9C down eastern coasts of England and Scotland.

Sunday Night
A cloudy night to come over all most parts of the country. There will be spots of rain across many areas, especially over eastern facing slopes. Thickening cloud through Scotland bringing some light rain over the Grampians and Highlands, although skies remain clear through western and northern Scotland. Low temperatures at 7 or 8C, but perhaps dipping to 2C under clearer skies in Scotland.

Monday
A breezy and rather cool day with periods of rain across much of England and Wales. Most of the rain is going to be light and patchy, although there could be some more persistent rain over the Midlands and parts of Wales. A few sunny spells coming through over the far south, and again it will feel warm here. Cloudier skies for southern and eastern Scotland, but brighter for the north and west. Highs near 14C in southern England, 10C in eastern Scotland.

Tuesday
With a weak front lying north to south through the country it is going to be cloudy again with some more outbreaks of rain and drizzle. There could be a few moderate bursts over high ground such as the Pennines and Southern Uplands. More rain moving into the southwest of Ireland later in the day. Elsewhere there will be a fair amount of cloud, but it should stay generally dry. A few bright spells for northern Scotland. Temperatures at 16C in the sunshine in the south, 12C in northeast England.
