Tuesday
With high pressure riding down across the United Kingdom, all parts will have a dry morning with any low cloud and mistiness in the south of England and Wales clearing otherwise most places can expect a mix of cloud and sunny spells. For the afternoon it will remain dry across all parts of Britain though we will find cloud thickening up across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. A milder day with highs of 10 to 13C across Northern Ireland and Scotland and 13 to 16C for England and Wales.
Tuesday Night
This evening will see outbreaks of rain spreading in across Northern Ireland, reaching Cornwall, western Wales and western Scotland later. Continued fair and dry for central and eastern areas. Overnight the rain is expected to all of Scotland, Wales and western parts of England with eastern areas to stay dry albeit cloudy. Some heavier bursts will affect western coasts and hills. Lows mostly down to 5 to 9C for most places.
Wednesday
The far eastern most counties of England and Scotland should stay dry this morning and the rain clears Northern Ireland and the West Country to sunny spells. Elsewhere it looks wet with spells of rain this morning. Mostly dry with the best of the sunshine this afternoon for Wales and south west England. For the remainder of Britain expect more cloud and showers with persistent rain for north east Scotland. Most of the showers will have cleared by evening with all areas fine and dry. Overnight more rain spills in across Northern Ireland. Highs of 11 to 17C.
Thursday
Fine and sunny across East Anglia, the East Midlands and south east England this morning. Elsewhere it's a wet morning with spells of locally moderate to heavy rain. The rain becomes lighter as it moves into eastern areas this afternoon though still looks heavy across Scotland. Apart from a few showers near the western coast of Scotland, it's a dry night with clear spells and some mist and fog patches may develop across central and southern England. Highs of 10 to 17C.
