Wednesday
The day start dry already across Wales and south west England with a few showers for Northern Ireland. Elsewhere much wetter as a band of moderate rain continues moving east. As the rain clears into the North Sea by the afternoon a scattering of showers will affect eastern parts of England and Scotland. To the west it's looking fine, sunny and pleasantly warm though a few sharpish showers will develop across Northern Ireland. A milder day with highs of 10 to 15C across Northern Ireland and Scotland and 15 to 18C for England and Wales.

Wednesday Night
Increasingly cloudy across Northern Ireland this evening with a few showers in the west. The bulk of the United Kingdom will have a fine evening with some early sunshine to end the day. Overnight an area of moderate to heavy rain spills in across Northern Ireland, Wales, south west England and the far west of Scotland while the rest of Britain remains fair and dry. Lows down to 5 to 9C for most places.

Thursday
Fine and mostly sunny across East Anglia, the East Midlands and Kent this morning. Elsewhere it's a wet morning with spells of locally moderate to heavy rain. The rain moves into East Anglia and south east England this afternoon with sunshine and showers for the rest of Britain, some may be heavy. Apart from a few showers around western coasts of Scotland, it's a dry evening and night with clear spells. Highs of 10 to 14C.

Friday
This morning outbreaks of rain will fall across Northern Ireland with the remainder of the United Kingdom dry with some cloud and sunny intervals. During the afternoon the rain then spreads into all but East Anglia and the far south of England with heavy bursts in the north and west. Generally a misty, damp night for most areas but it does turn largely dry across southern England and East Anglia. Highs of 10 to 17C.
