Thursday
Rather windy across western parts of the United Kingdom this morning. Fair and mostly sunny across East Anglia and Kent this morning. For Northern Ireland, Wales and the West Country expect some heavy showers. Elsewhere it's a wet morning with spells of locally moderate to heavy rain. The rain clears East Anglia and south east England early this afternoon with sunshine and showers for the rest of Britain, some may be heavy. Highs at 10 to 14C north to south.
Thursday Night
Any showers for this evening and tonight will be confined to the north west of Scotland. For the remainder of Britain it's dry with some early evening sunshine to end the day. Overnight a lot of cloud spills in across western areas as a front approaches from the west. Lows down to 5 to 9C for most places.
Friday
This morning outbreaks of rain will fall across Northern Ireland and Wales with the remainder of the United Kingdom dry with some cloud and sunny intervals. During the afternoon the rain then spreads into all of Scotland and northern England with extensive low cloud and mist around western coasts and hills. Dry for central and southern England, albeit cloudy. Generally a mist night to come with an area of heavier rain across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Cumbria with some drizzle further south. Highs of 12 to 17C.
Saturday
A belt of moderate to heavy rain is expected across Scotland and Northern Ireland with some drizzle for western and northern parts of England. Dry in the south with cloud breaking to sunnier spells. Feeling quite warm in the south this afternoon with some hazy sunshine. More rain to come for Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. Lots of mist, low cloud and drizzle will affect western parts of Wales and Cornwall. The rain in the north sweeps into all parts during the evening and night. Highs of 10 to 15C in the north, 15 to 20C in the south.
