Friday
A cloudy morning to come across much of the west of the country. The cloud is going to be bringing outbreaks of drizzle over western Wales and southwest England, with more widespread drizzle affecting Ireland and southwest Scotland. Further east there will be cloud too, but some bright or even sunny spells coming through over eastern England. The afternoon may become warm in eastern and southeast England with some sunshine here. Thicker cloud to the north and west bringing further drizzle and low cloud with fog on western coasts. Rain may be heavier over Northern Ireland, west Wales, northwest England and the south and west of Scotland. Highs around 18C in southeast England, nearer 11C in western Scotland.
Friday Night
Tonight sees the outbreaks of drizzle again in the north and west, where it is going to be staying mainly cloudy too. Fog shrouds western coasts too. Some more persistent rain , heavy at times for northern and western Scotland, as well as western Ireland. More eastern and southern parts of England will be drier, although rather cloudy. Overnight the more persistent rain edges eastwards through Ireland and continues in northern and western Scotland. Still some drizzle over the west of Wales and western coasts of England, but mainly dry elsewhere. Becoming windy in the north and west. Lows around a mild 9 or 10C.
Saturday
Breezy for Saturday morning over Scotland, Ireland and northwest England. A band of rain lies through Scotland and Ireland too, some heavier bursts of rain at times. Drier elsewhere with some sunny spells breaking through the cloud eventually in the southeast of England. The afternoon sees the heavier bursts of rain into Scotland and slow crossing the Irish Sea to reach west Wales by evening. Otherwise it is cloudy with some drizzle for the northwest and southwest of England. Dry for the rest of England with a few bright spells, and feeling very warm where the sun comes through. Turning brighter and more showers in Ireland later. Highs at 21C in the sunshine over southeast England, but just 11C in western Scotland.
Sunday
A change in conditions on Sunday, with fresher weather sweeping through all areas. Morning rain should clear from eastern England, to be followed by brighter weather with some good sunny spells. Showers will be affecting Ireland, southwest Scotland and western Wales in the morning. These showers become heavier and more persistent in the afternoon as they spread into the rest of Wales, Scotland, northern England, the Midlands and southwest England. Less showers for southeastern England. Becoming increasingly breezy through England and Wales too. Temperatures at 16C in London, 12C in Belfast.
