Monday
For the Midlands and the eastern parts of Scotland and England it will be a dry, bright morning with some hazy sunshine. In the west expect lots of low cloud, mist and drizzly rain. This will be quite light and patchy. By the afternoon any drizzly bits will be over the hills of south west England, Wales, north west England and western Scotland. Overall most places will be fine and dry with spells of hazy sunshine. We're expecting top temperatures of 18 to 19C but up to 23C in the sunnier east.

Monday Night
Outbreaks of more persistent rain will move into parts of Northern Ireland and western Scotland this evening. For the rest of the United Kingdom it will be a dry evening with some good sunny spells to end the day. Overnight the rain in the north drifts into the rest of Scotland, northern England and Wales with the remainder of England dry with clear spells. A very night with lows of 12 to 16C.

Tuesday
An area of rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland will be clearing away in the afternoon as it slips into northern England and Wales. By then the rain will becomes quite light. To the south it remains fair and dry with sunshine and showers then for Northern Ireland and Scotland. In the evening and night the rain peps up as it moves into central and southern parts of England. Quite hot in the south east today with highs near 26C but overall expect values of 17 to 23C.

Wednesday
Cloudy across Scotland and Northern Ireland with showers and longer spells of rain. Fair and dry for England and Wales this morning with the south the sunniest. In the afternoon outbreaks of light rain will move into northern England with some drizzle for Wales. Mainly dry elsewhere with a good deal of cloud and occasional bright or sunnier spells. Much of the United Kingdom looks damp for the evening and night with spells of mainly light rain though perhaps dry in the far south of England and the north of Scotland.
