Monday
With a warm front approaching, cloud will increase across the western half of Britain this morning and some rain will affect Northern Ireland. Elsewhere it's fine and dry with sunny spells. Still quite windy along North Sea coasts this morning. Overcast this afternoon across Northern Ireland and western Scotland with some light rain. Irish Sea coasts will also become dull with some patchy drizzle with the best of the sunshine towards the east and south east of England. We're expecting top temperatures of 16 to 21C north to south but feeling cool along North Sea coasts in that brisk wind.
Monday Night
A lot of low cloud, mist and drizzle will affect south west England, Wales, north west England, Scotland and Northern Ireland this evening with a dry evening across central and southern England with some sunshine. A warm night to come with a lot of low cloud and drizzly rain in the west and in the north. Expect minimums of 10 to 14C.
Tuesday
So western and northern parts of the United Kingdom start the morning overcast, dull, misty and drizzly. By the afternoon it should brighten up and be dry. Eastern and southern parts of England and eastern Scotland may be cloudy at first but soon the cloud thins to hazy sunny spells as it becomes very warm. Apart from rain in the north west tonight, it's dry with some low cloud and mist patches developing. High of 17 to 20C and 20 to 26C in the south.
Wednesday
It's going to be a hot day today and becoming more humid too. Still lots of low cloud and some residual drizzle to clear away from western coasts but it will do and the sun will come out with all parts of Britain dry this morning. Most places will be dry with hazy sunshine in the afternoon but the high temperatures may spark off a few thunderstorms across Wales. Still some showers possible this evening across western parts of Britain. Overnight we may see more persistent rain moving into the West Country. High of 17 to 20C and 20 to 25C in the south.
