Sunny and very warm Rather hot into Friday seiten=4 abk=focus
Tuesday
For western and northern parts of the United Kingdom the morning will start overcast, dull, misty and drizzly. By the afternoon it should brighten up and be dry though western Scotland may stay dull with drizzle. Eastern and southern parts of England and eastern Scotland may be cloudy at first but soon the cloud thins to hazy sunny spells as it becomes very warm. We're expecting top temperatures of 19 to 22C in the north but 22 to 25C across England and Wales.
Tuesday Night
Still a lot of low cloud, mist and drizzle will affect western parts of Scotland this evening and tonight. It will be a dry evening across Wales, northern England, central and southern England with some pleasant sunshine. Here it will be a warm night to come with some patchy low cloud and mistiness by morning. Expect minimums of 11 to 15C.
Wednesday
It's going to be a hot day today and becoming more humid too. Still lots of low cloud and some residual drizzle to clear away from western coasts but it will do and the sun will come out with all parts of Britain dry this morning. Most places will be dry with hazy sunshine in the afternoon but the high temperatures may spark off a few thunderstorms across Wales. Still some showers possible this evening across western parts of Britain and overnight they become confined to western Scotland and Northern Ireland. High of 21 to 24C and 24 to 28C in the south but fresher around the coasts as afternoon sea breezes develop.
Thursday
Another hot, summer's day across the United Kingdom today. Apart from some rain in the far north west of Scotland it's a sunny morning once any patchy mist and low cloud soon clears. In the afternoon showers will affect western Scotland and Northern Ireland with a few also developing across Wales. A few of these could be heavy and thundery. Most areas will stay dry and sunny. Scattered showers will persist across western Scotland, Northern Ireland and around Irish Sea coasts this evening and overnight with the rest of Britain dry. High of 17 to 20C and 20 to 25C in the south.
