Wednesday
It's going to be a hot day today and becoming more humid too. Still lots of low cloud and some residual drizzle to clear away from western coasts of England, Wales and Scotland but it will do and the sun will come out with most parts of Britain dry this morning. Most places will be dry with hazy sunshine in the afternoon but the high temperatures may spark off a few showers or isolated thunderstorms across Wales and northern England. We're expecting top temperatures of 20 to 27C.
Wednesday Night
There remains the risk of showers across Wales, northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland for much of the evening and night. For central, eastern and southern parts of England expect a fine evening with lots of late sunshine to come. Overnight it stays dry with clear spells and some patchy low cloud and mist A warm night with minimums of 12 to 16C.
Thursday
Another hot, summer's day across the United Kingdom today. Showery outbreaks of rain will affect western parts of the United Kingdom today with more prolonged for Northern Ireland at first. Here there is a risk of a few thunderstorms too. Much of eastern England and Scotland would be dry with hazy sunny spells but a few showers could affect The Midlands. Still a few showers in the west this evening but most will die out by tonight otherwise dry tonight and rather muggy. High of 21 to 27C in the south but fresher around the coasts as afternoon sea breezes develop.
Friday
it stays hot across much of the United Kingdom today. After a mainly dry start, outbreaks of rain are expected to move into south west England and Wales this morning. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere though some light rain will affect western Scotland. In the afternoon it stays dry and bright across much of eastern England into the Midlands but feeling humid. The rain in the south west may be thundery as it spreads north into all remaining areas. The thundery rain clears Wales and south west England as it pushes north into Scotland and Northern Ireland in the heavy and this will be heavy. Overnight it clears all but the far north of Scotland with a lot of mist and murk settling in across much of Britain. High of 20 to 28C.
