Rain in the west Very warm for all seiten=4 abk=focus

Wednesday
A wet and muggy morning over the far west of Cornwall, eastern Ireland, Wales and the northwest of England, parts of Northern Ireland and southwest Scotland. The rain could be heavy at times and it will be rather misty too with fog on the coasts and hills. For western Ireland, eastern and northern Scotland as well as the rest of England the morning should be dry with some good spells of sunshine in the southeast. This afternoon sees the weather turning hot again over much of England and eastern Wales. Heavy and thundery rain affecting western Cornwall, the west of Wales and eastern England as will as southern parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs at 28C in southeast England, nearer 18C in western Scotland. A breezy day in the west.

Wednesday Night
Two area of heavy, thundery rain will be affecting the country tonight. The first is going to be through the far southwest of England, Ireland, west Wales and western Scotland. Plenty of mist and fog around western coasts and hills too. The second area of rain is likely to extend northwards from the continent, through central southern England and then into the Midlands by the morning. Some very heavy bursts of rain associated with this, and thunderstorms too. A very muggy night with lows of 14 to 17C for most of us, but perhaps no lower than 20C in the far southeast.

Thursday
Thursday starts muggy and wet for many parts of the country. heavy, thundery periods of rain spread into northern England, whilst still affecting much of the Midlands and southern England. The other rain areas moves out on Ireland and into Wales and southern Scotland as well as still affecting Northern Ireland. The afternoon sees the heavy rain focused on northern England, north Wales and southern Scotland with a risk of some flooding. Thundery showers for most of the rest of the country as fresher weather pushes into the west. yes more rain returning to southern Ireland later. Highs may get to 26C in East Anglia, nearer 20C in western Scotland.

Friday
All in all a calmer, fresher day is on the cards for Friday. There will be sunny spells through the morning, but it won't take long for showers to develop. The showers should be fairly well scattered and will tend to affect mainly Ireland, Wales, northern England and southern Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry with sunny spells throughout the day. A warm day again in the east at 24C, but nearer 20 to 21C over western coasts.
