Sunday
Some outbreaks of rain along southern coasts of England on Sunday, this edging a little further inland at times and possibly becoming heavy too in the southwest. Further inland there will be a scattering of showers around, but more persistent rain affecting central parts of Scotland. Elsewhere there will be fair amount of cloud in the morning, but this should be breaking allowing a few bright or sunny spells to break through. The best of the sunshine towards the east. Almost anywhere could see some showers and these may be heavy here and there, although they will be scattered. Temperatures at 23C in any sunshine over central England, nearer 17C in western Scotland.

Another area of rain slipping southwards through southern Scotland and into Northern Ireland and the far north of England. A few showers over the west of Wales and along northern coasts of Scotland, but elsewhere it should be dry with some clear spells. Lows near a cool 5C in central Scotland, around 9 or 10C elsewhere.

Monday

It should be turning brighter over the north and west of the country with some good sunny spells coming through and just a few showers. To the south the cloud will be breaking up with some sunshine coming through and it should be generally dry. Temperatures rising to around 17C over Scotland and Ireland and feeling cool too, nearer 22C over central parts of England.
