Monday
Cloud and some sharp showers passing through Wales, the Midlands and Lincolnshire this morning. These showers edge southwards, although they should be breaking further as they go. Becoming fair in the afternoon over Wales, the Midlands and northern England with sunny spells. Mainly dry with broken cloud to the south through the morning, but this cloud breaking with some sunny spells coming through in the afternoon. A few showers will be over Scotland and Northern Ireland too, although these having a tendency to fade into the afternoon. There will still be a few over eastern coasts of Scotland. Highs at 22C in central areas, 16C in northern Scotland.

Monday Night
A few showers affecting eastern coasts of Scotland and northeast England tonight. These will be fading away quickly though. All parts of the country are then going to be dry with clear skies. Increasing cloud and a few outbreaks of rain over southern Ireland and the far southwest of England by the morning. Lows around a cool 7C inland, nearer 12C over southwest England.

Tuesday
Increasing cloud will be pushing rain into southern Ireland, south Wales and southwest England on Tuesday morning. For most of the rest of the country the day will be starting bright and dry with plenty of sunshine. There could be a few showers for the far north of Scotland, but generally it should be dry. Into the afternoon the rain will be through central Scotland, Wales and southern parts of England. There is a risk of some heavier bursts of rain here and there, especially in the west. Staying dry with some sunshine over northern and eastern England, as well as Scotland. Highs at a muggy 25C over eastern England, nearer 16C for northern Scotland.

Wednesday
Heavy spells of rain affecting the Midlands and southeast England, with a further area of rain over central Scotland and the extreme north and south of Ireland. Elsewhere there will be sunny spells but also some heavy showers. The showers could turn thundery at times. The best of the weather over the far north of Scotland where it should stay dry with good spells of sunshine. Temperatures at 18C in northern Scotland, nearer 22C in southeast England.
