Saturday
Eastern parts of England and Scotland should stay drive for this morning with early sunshine then more cloudy. Elsewhere it's cloudy and damp with spells of rain in the west spreading into central areas and it becomes very windy in the west too. This leads to a wet and windy afternoon with heavy rain in the west though little rain is likely in the extreme eastern parts of England and Scotland. The winds will reach gale force around exposed western and south western coasts. We're expecting top temperatures of 16 to 19C north to south.
Saturday Night
It turns fine and dry across south west England this evening. The bulk of Britain though stays wet with further spells of rain which will be heavy. Mist of the country remains wet into the night though the West Country and parts of the Midlands should become dry in the main. Expect lows around 9 to 13C.
Sunday
Rain is forecast for Wales and the north of Scotland this morning otherwise mainly dry but with a good deal of cloud and brief sunny spells. A largely dry albeit cloudy afternoon for The Midlands and south east England. Spells of rain will affect the rest of Britain though brighter with just a few showers for Northern Ireland. Spells of persistent and heavy rain across Wales and south west England in the evening are forecast to spill into all parts overnight. Highs of 15 to 19C.
Monday
Mainly a dry day for Northern Ireland and northern Scotland with the best of the sunshine. The rest of the United Kingdom remains wet, overcast and breezy with outbreaks of rain. This will be heavy across Wales in particular. The rain is expected to linger through the evening and night as well. Highs of 15 to 20C.
