Cloud and some outbreaks of rain affecting northern parts of England and southern Scotland this morning. Further rain along eastern coasts of England early on, but this is going to be clearing eastwards.For most of northern and western Scotland it should be dry and bright. A fair start to the morning across the rest of England and Wales. Thicker cloud spreads into Ireland in the afternoon bringing ran to the south. Low pressure moving into the west of Ireland tonight. A band of rain will be pushing through Ireland, Wales and most of central and southern England. Showers follow through western parts of Wales and England as well as southern Ireland. Thicker cloud over northern Scotland and drier at first over eastern England. Turning increasingly unsettled as the night progresses with a risk of showers or rain for most of us. Lows around 9 to 12C and the winds picking up too.

Low pressure dominating the weather over the whole of the UK and Ireland today. Bands of rain and showers will be sweeping eastwards through the country. One band of rain affecting central Scotland, with another band of heavy ran across Ireland, Wales and western England. Elsewhere there will be heavy showers and a risk of thundery showers. Breezy for all areas with a risk of gales in the west. Temperatures reaching 15 to 19C so feeling cool everywhere.

The area of low pressure moves through the British Isles on Tuesday to be centred over northern England. This will bring a day of heavy showers or longer spells of rain to many parts of the country. There will be some sunny spells between the showers, most of these n the west. Temperatures at 15 to 19C and feeling cool everywhere. It may also be windy to the south.
