Friday
Some early rain across East Anglia should clear this morning. Patchy rain across Scotland will turn more showery in the afternoon as it brightens up. Scattered showers are forecast for eastern parts of England through the day. Northern Ireland along with Wales and western parts of England look mainly fine and dry with the best of the sunshine. We're expecting top temperatures of 13 to 18C but 19 to 21C in the south east.

Friday Night
Just the odd shower up in the north east of Scotland this evening. For most of the United Kingdom it will be a fine, dry evening with some sunshine to end the day. Overnight it will be dry across all parts of Britain and with little in the way of cloud and light winds, it will turn chilly with a few fog patches for the Midlands and southern England. Lows of 8 to 12C.

Saturday
With an area of high pressure across the United Kingdom, much of the country will be fine and dry this morning with sunny spells but cloud thickens up across Northern Ireland as rain spills in early in the afternoon. Continued dry elsewhere with lots of sunshine. Becoming windy too in the west. Gradually the rain spreads in across western Wales and western Scotland during the course of the evening. A dry albeit cloudy night for East Anglia and south east England. The rest of the country will be wet and rather windy with outbreaks of rain, heavy in the west and north. Highs of 17 to 22C.

Sunday
Rain clears from western parts of England, Scotland, all of Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning with a few showers to come through the afternoon. A wet morning across eastern areas and the rain clears here in the early afternoon then mainly dry and sunnier. Still windy in the west. More rain moves into Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight with England and Wales dry and clear. Highs of 15 to 20C.
