Monday
Overcast and wet with outbreaks of persistent rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland for much of the day though it will become lighter in the afternoon. Rather misty and murky across central England and Wales and northern England with some drizzly rain. Fine and dry across the remainder of England with a good deal of cloud. Eastern parts of England will brighten up during the afternoon with a few sunnier spells coming through. We're expecting top temperatures of 16 to 22C north to south.
Monday Night
Fair and dry this evening except for some light rain and drizzle across northern England and Wales. Here the rain tends to linger into the night as well with some showers for the north west of Scotland. To the south it stays dry with a good deal of cloud. Another mild night with lows of 10 to 16C.
Tuesday
For Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England expect an overcast and wet day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some drizzle too across Wales in the morning then dry and brighter for the afternoon. Central and southern England stays dry with the best of the sunshine after a cloudy start. More rain and drizzle then across the northern half of the United Kingdom tonight with the south dry. Highs of 17 to 20C but up to 24C in the south east.
Wednesday
Mainly dry across much of Britain today with just some early drizzle around western coasts and across Wales. Later in the afternoon rain will move across the Northern Isles into the north of Scotland. Good sunny spells will develop across central and southern England and it will be warm. More drizzly rain to come for the north and west tonight. Highs of 17 to 23C.
