Thursday Night
Sporadic outbreaks of drizzly rain will affect Scotland, north west England, Northern Ireland and Wales this evening and during the night. Friday
For Scotland, Northern Ireland and north western England expect an overcast and damp day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some drizzle too across Wales in the morning then dry and brighter for the afternoon. Central and southern England along with areas east of the Pennines stay dry with the best chance of seeing any sunshine. More rain and drizzle then across the northern half of the United Kingdom tonight with the south dry and becoming cloudy once again. Some locally dense fog patches may also develop across Wales and the south by morning. Highs of 19 to 26C.
Saturday
Some showers are expected across western parts of Scotland this morning with the rest of the country dry. Here more cloud breaks should allow more sunshine. In the afternoon some showers will also extend into Wales and northern England. The rest of England will be dry with some sunshine and feeling very warm too with the winds now from the south east. Rain moves into Northern Ireland tonight with showers in the west and around southern coasts of England. Highs of 19 to 27.
