Very warm and sunnier Unsettled on Sunday seiten=4 abk=focus
Friday
Rather cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain and drizzle across Scotland and Northern Ireland for much of the day though eastern parts of Scotland will generally be mainly dry and sunnier. Windy here as well. It should brighten up across parts of Northern Ireland too in the afternoon as it becomes dry. Still a lot of cloud to start the morning across England and Wales with some drizzle for parts of Wales and north west England. Some sunshine then develops in the east. So a dry after too follow with the best of the sunshine from the Midlands eastward. Becoming very warm in the sunnier south east with highs of 18 to 25C north to south.
Friday Night
Sporadic outbreaks of drizzly rain will affect Scotland, north west England, Northern Ireland and Wales this evening and for northern England too overnight. Elsewhere it's fair and dry this evening with some early sunshine and occasional cloud. Here it stays dry overnight with varying cloud and a few clear spells in the south east. Some fog patches are likely to develop in the south by morning. Another mild night with lows of 12 to 16C.
Saturday
Still some drizzly rain this morning across Scotland and northern England. Wales, Northern Ireland and the rest of England looks dry with some early cloud and mist clearing to sunny skies. As it heats up a number of sharp showers will develop across Wales and northern parts of England in the afternoon but it looks sunny and very warm in central and southern areas. A few heavy showers still to come across the northern half of the country this evening then most places will be dry and misty tonight. Highs of 20 to 27C.
Sunday
Sunday we are expecting a breakdown in the weather as an area of thundery rain develops across the country. Models have not been handling this very well so just going to an increased likelihood of some very heavy showers with perhaps central and north eastern parts of England being the most favoured area to see these though all places look to be at risk of some localised torrential downpours. Highs of 18 to 24C.
