Saturday
A cold morning across England and Wales with a frost in most places. Quite a dull morning too for England and Wales with some locally dense fog patches. A few sunny spells will develop across south west England and eastern Wales along with south east England. Much windier across Scotland and Northern Ireland with strong south west gales and here it will turn very wet with heavy spells of rain sweeping in by the afternoon. Gusts to 70 or 80 are possible near exposed north western coasts and headlands. Across England and Wales it looks fair, dry and bright with more in the way of sunshine likely in the south east. Expect maximum temperatures of just 1 to 3C but up to 8 or 9C in the west.

Saturday Night
Gales persist in the north and west this evening and night and windy in the south as well. A wet evening and night too for Scotland and Northern Ireland and this spreads into northern England in the night. The rain will be heavy. To the south it remains dry with varying cloud and clear spells. Expect lows of 2 to 8C.

Sunday
A dry day to come for East Anglia, The Midlands and southern England but rather cloudy and breezy. For the rest of Britain it's a windy and mild day with outbreaks of rain, this heavier in then north and west. Wind gusts of 70 mph will persist around the northern and western coasts of Scotland, It stays windy and wet tonight but it remains dry across East Anglia and south east England. The rain also clears Northern Ireland. Highs of 2 to 8C east to west.

Monday
Windy and much milder in all areas today. Spells of heavy rain across Wales, central and southern England will track back north into northern England and southern Scotland. A few showers will affect western Scotland. The rain sweeps away this evening then dry, clear and colder overnight. Expect highs of 8 to 11C.
