Monday
A build ridge of high pressure will kill off any showers across western parts of England, Scotland and Wales later this morning as it brightens up and sunny spells develops. Central and eastern areas of England and Scotland will start the chilly with some patchy frost. It's a dry day here with a mix of sunny spells and some occasional cloud. Expect maximum temperatures of 5 to 8C north to south.
Monday Night
During the course of the evening cloud will thicken up in the west as some light rain gets into parts of Northern Ireland and north west Scotland before midnight. The remainder of the United Kingdom will be dry with clear spells. Overnight it becomes breezy in the west with outbreaks of rain spreading into all of Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. Central, southern and eastern England stays dry with clear spells with a patchy frost in the south. Expect lows of 0 to 5C.
Tuesday
One belt of rain becomes light as it moves out of Scotland into England and Wales but doesn't reach East Anglia and south east England where it remains fair and dry. Another band of heavier rain returns to northern Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon replacing the sunshine and showers of the morning. Tonight rain is expected across East Anglia and southern England with showers across western Scotland. Dry and clear inland with a frost likely. Expect highs of 6 to 9C.
Tuesday
The last of the rain clears East Anglia and the south east of England in the morning. Occasional showers will persist across western Scotland. The rest of the United Kingdom will stay fine and dry with good sunny spells. Dry across all areas in the evening. Rain moves into Northern Ireland in the night with some patchy frost across England and Scotland. Expect highs of 5 to 9C.
