Wet in north Fair, dry south seiten=4 abk=focus
Monday
A wet, windy day across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England and northern Wales this morning and this area of rain slips a bit further into the North Midlands and parts of East Anglia in the afternoon. The rain will heavier in the north. To the south a largely dry day with the best of any brightness. Expecting highs of 10 to 15C but feeling colder in that brisk west wind.
Monday Night
Overcast, misty and day for much of the United Kingdom this evening and during the night. Much of the rain will by light and drizzle. Overnight the rain may become more heavy across Northern Ireland, south west Scotland and north west England. A mild night underneath the cloud with lows of 8 to 10C.
Tuesday
Not a great deal of change expected today with a stationary front across northern areas. So more rain and drizzle with a lot of hill fog for Wales, northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Some heavy bursts are likely in the north. Further south it stays dry but mostly cloudy. Cloudy across all areas this evening and overnight with sporadic outbreaks of rain, this light and patchy in the south. Remaining quite misty over the hills and around the coasts. Maximums of 10 to 15C.
Wednesday
A dull, misty start to the morning across central and southern England along with Wales. Here it should brighten up with some hazy sunshine perhaps developing through the day. For areas to the north it stays cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some of this will be heavy but tends to clear northern England in the afternoon as the rain gets pushed back north. This evening a band of heavy rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland then moves back south into northern England and parts of Wales. Maximums of 10 to 15C.
