A damp and cloudy morning over much of Ireland, Wales and England. The area of rain which will be affecting these areas may be heavy at times on the hills, but it should clear to the north fairly quickly. Brighter and drier weather then comes through in the afternoon, but there will be showers too. It is going to be windy through all areas as well. More rain affecting central and northern parts of Scotland, but the rest of Scotland and the far north of England should start the day dry. However, showers or longer outbreaks of rain will be developing into the afternoon although the far north of Scotland should be staying dry. Highs at 12 to 15C. Feeling cold for many too.
Sunday Night
Periods of rain clearing from eastern parts of Scotland this evening and breezy too. Showers to the south should be fading away, but with winds to near gale force on western coasts more rain is going to be blown into the far southwest towards midnight. This rain then spreads northeast and eastwards through Scotland, western England and Wales as well as eastern Ireland. Drier weather for central and eastern England, and rain clearing from southwest England too. Lows near 5 to 10C.
Monday
A wet morning for Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland. Scattered showers across Ireland, Wales and southern England with sunny spells too. Rain will be affecting the far north of Scotland too, but elsewhere it should become brighter with some sunny spells. Always a threat of showers over inland areas of the country, although western coasts of the country may be drier. Highs at 18C in the southeast, nearer 13C in western Scotland.
Tuesday
A bright start to the day with sunny spells for most. There will be some showers here and there, these tending to turn heavier through the day. The showers will be heaviest to the west and there is a risk of the showers merging into longer periods of rain at times. Drier across the southeast and tending to become brighter here through the day and warmer. Highs at 19C in the sunshine over southeast England, 12C in western Scotland.
