This evening still some heavy showers to come for Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Spells of more persistent rain may affect Scotland tonight with an area of showers through north west England and north west Wales. Elsewhere it's a dry night under mostly clear skies. Lows of 7 to 10C.

Wednesday
Not as windy today. Eastern and central parts of England should have a dry morning with good sunny spells. These may be hit and miss though across East Anglia and south east England. A dry night for many though showers will continue across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. A warmer day with maximums of 13 to 18C.
