Warmer and sunnier A fine weekend seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
Much of the United Kingdom will start grey and dull but largely dry though some light rain is expected across northern Scotland and here it remains drizzly out to the west in the afternoon while it brightens up in the east. In the afternoon it will be brightening up as the sun breaks through in many areas and turning very warm in that sunshine. But lots of will linger around western parts of Scotland, England and Wales. Highs of highs of 17 to 24C with much lighter winds today.
Thursday Night
Most places will have a fine, pleasantly warm evening to come with lots of late sunshine then dry and clear by night. Still some low cloud may affect some western coasts at times and fog patches will develop across eastern Wales, the Midlands and southern England. A warm night with lows of 8 to 12C.
Friday
Apart from a few scattered showers across northern Scotland it's another fine, warm day across the whole of the United Kingdom with lots of sunshine after any early mistiness soon goes. Perhaps more cloud may drift near North Sea coasts with the winds from the north east. It remains fine and dry across the country for the evening and night. Rather breezy across the south west today with highs of 20 to 24C east to west.
Saturday
More of an easterly breeze so not quite as warm today. Just one or two showers to come in the north west of Scotland this morning then mainly dry. For England, Wales and Northern Ireland high pressure will keep it settled and dry with good sunny spells for most. The onshore wind again may bring a bit more cloud to North Sea coasts at times. A few, sunny evening across all of Britain which leads to a dry, clear night. Expect highs of 18 to 21C.
