Monday
High pressure is going to be in evidence again through today. There may be some mist patches first thing, but these will be clearing away very quickly. However, there is the risk of a heavy showers forming across central southern parts of England and the far south of Wales, although these will be well scattered. Thicker cloud for the far northwest of Scotland but mainly dry here, although once again the threat of a sharp shower over the Highlands and Grampians this afternoon. A very warm afternoon with highs at 25C in central England, nearer 17C in the cloud over northwest Scotland.

Monday Night
Probably a rather cool night ahead across most of the country. Pressure stays high and so all places are going to be dry. A chilly night with lows at 5C over parts of the western Midlands, central Wales and parts of northwest England. Generally the temperatures at 6 to 8C.

Tuesday
Turning cooler over the north and east of the country today. There is going to be some cloud across Scotland, mostly in the north and then drifting down the eastern coasts. The chance of an odd shower here too. For England, Wales and Ireland the day is going to be a fine one with plenty of sunshine. The best of the sunshine through western areas with highs near 24C in more western areas, that cooler air reaching the north and east with highs of 15C here.

Wednesday
More cloud around for Wednesday as a weakening cold front drifts westwards. However, it should be staying dry for the majority, although an odd shower cannot be ruled out over the Midlands and eastern England. The best of the sunshine today over the west of Wales and western England as well as western Scotland. Lots of sunshine and dry conditions for Ireland with plenty of sunshine here once again. Tops at 17C in eastern England and 12C on the coasts of northeast Scotland. nearer 22 or 23C in the sunshine over western Wales and southwest England.
