Thundery rain in west Fresher tomorrow seiten=4 abk=focus
Thursday
A hot and mainly sunny start to the day across most of England and the east of Wales. An area of cloud and thundery rain is going to be spreading into southwest England and the west of Wales with an area of more widespread, torrential rain across Ireland. A few showers breaking out over western and central parts of Scotland. Into this afternoon the thundery band of rain spreads through Ireland, bringing a risk of flooding here. It extends through Wales and into southwest England with thunderstorms tied in with the rain. Much of northern and eastern England as well as eastern Scotland should stay generally dry with lots of sunshine. Highs at 30C over parts of the Midlands, but cooler and fresher weather following the thundery rain into the west with tops of 21C in Northern Ireland.
Thursday Night
The band of thundery rain spreads across Scotland, northern England and the Midlands in the first part of the night. By the morning the rain is going to be through western and southern Scotland as well as northeast England (the rain only patchy here) and a scattering of showers through east Anglia and southeast England too. Apart from some showers in southwest Ireland, the rest of Ireland, England and Wales will be dry with clear spells. Becoming fresher. Lows near 13 to 16C.
Friday
The remains of the showery area of rain will be over central and eastern Scotland, northeast England, East Anglia and the southeast of England today. These showers may become heavy at times, and it is going to be feeling much fresher here. Much fresh too over the rest of England, Wales, western Scotland and Ireland. It will be generally dry with sunny spells through most of these areas and apart from some showers over Ireland, the weather should be dry. Highs at 25C in eastern England, 19C in western Scotland.
Saturday
More widespread unsettled weather on Sunday. Low pressure is going to be centred over Scotland and this is going to be bringing showers to western parts of the country throughout. These showers become heavier and more frequent in the afternoon. After a drier start the showers will be sweeping through the rest of England and Wales, as well as eastern Scotland. Windy day through Ireland and quite a breeze over Wales and England too. Cooler for all at 17 to 21C.
