Cool and showery Staying cool through the week seiten=4 abk=focus

Tuesday
Plenty of cloud around to start the day on Tuesday. There will be some showers through Wales and the southern half of England and these are going to be turning heavy as the morning progresses; the focus for them probably over the southern Midlands and southern England. Further cloud and some showers through northern England and southern parts of Scotland, although here there will be some sunny spells too. A rash of showers over England and Wales again in the afternoon, most of them tending to be towards the east and south of the country. A few heavy ones across Wales and the southwest but less of them for Northern Ireland and west of Scotland. A breezy day for many, mostly to the west with highs of 15 to 21C.

Tuesday Night
Showers fade through this evening to leave some bright or sunny spells to end the day over England, Wales and western Scotland as well as Ireland. There is the threat of some cloud and patchy rain affecting eastern parts of Scotland later, but for most the night should be a cool and dry one. Still breezy with lows of 8 to 12C.

Wednesday
Another cool day to come over all parts of the country. The northwest wind is going to be bringing some showers onto the northern and eastern coasts of Scotland and England at times and a few of them could be heavy. Further west the showers will be much fewer and further between, and despite there being a fair amount of cloud there should be a tendency for conditions to become brighter into the afternoon with a few sunny spells. Highs near 14C in northern Scotland to 19C in southern England.

Thursday
Another cool day to come on Thursday. There will be a fair amount of cloud around through the day, especially on windward facing coasts and hills. Some showers continue to affect eastern parts of the country, but to the west and south it is going to be much drier and there will be some sunny spells here. Highs of 15C in northwest England, 21C in southern England.
