Saturday
Rain in the south west of England spreads into Wales and Northern Ireland this morning. Elsewhere it's a dry morning with some sunshine though a lot of cloud too. Outbreaks of rain turn heavy across south west England and Wales with a few showers across the Midlands and the far south of England. For the rest of England and Scotland it's a dry day with some decent sunny spells that turn hazy in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon the winds become strong around western coasts. highs of 16 to 22C.

Saturday Night
It stays dry across northern Scotland this evening but for the rest of Britain it's a wet evening with spells of heavy rain, especially in the west. Gales will also affect western coasts. Overnight it's quite wet and windy with outbreaks of heavy rain in many areas but most of it clears into the North Sea by morning but lingers across northern Scotland. Lows at 7 to 12C.

Sunday
Quite a windy, blustery day today with an area of heavy rain across Scotland. For western England and Wales the main rain has cleared but showers are expected, some heavy but interspersed with sunny spells. Central and eastern areas of England should be mainly dry with the best of the sunshine. Rain lingers across northern Scotland into the evening and night with the rest of Britain turning dry. Expect highs of 15 to 21C.

Monday
A dry, bright day with the best of the sunshine across East Anglia and the south east of England. Showers will affect the bulk of the United Kingdom with a few heavy ones in the north and west. Some good sunny spells too in-between the showers. Most of the shower die out this evening but linger around western coasts into the night. Expect highs of 15 to 21C.
