Sunshine & showers Few showers in south east seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
With low pressure firmly in charge, it's another day of sunshine and showers. The showers will become heavier in the afternoon in the north and west and may merge into a longer spell of rain across Wales and north west England. Hardly any showers to come today across East Anglia and the south east and here expect the best of the sunshine. Highs of 16 to 23C.

Monday Night
It remains dry across the south east of England and East Anglia through the evening and night. Elsewhere expect a good deal of cloud and some rain and showers though it should dry up across Wales and south west England overnight. Lows at 10 to 16C.

Tuesday
A dry, bright day again with the best of the sunshine across East Anglia and the south east of England. Showers will affect the bulk of the United Kingdom with quite a few heavy ones in the north and west. Some good sunny spells too in-between the showers. Lots of showers and some outbreaks of mainly light rain will persist right into the evening and night but again largely dry in the south east. Expect highs of 17 to 21C.

Wednesday
Overall we are not expecting a great deal of change in the weather as the unsettled theme continues. Showers will again be developing through the morning in many areas. Today most of the heavier showers though should be found across Scotland with perhaps more sunshine across England. Not many showers again today across East Anglia and south east England. Most of the showers die away early in the evening leaving most places ending the day with some sunshine. Dry with clear spells in most places overnight. Expect highs of 17 to 22C.
