Thursday
Some bright spells to start the morning, but there will be a few showers developing through the morning, mainly over Wales, northwest England and the Scottish mountains. The afternoon sees heavier showers developing over eastern England and Scotland. To the west the showers will be lighter and more scattered and it is likely to be staying breezy. Dry over southern areas of England with some sunny spells here. Highs at 16 to 20C.
