Sunday
Central and eastern parts of England and Scotland start the day dry with sunny spells. But showers already in the west will develop in many areas as we go through the morning. Some heavy ones will affect Wales, Scotland and northern England but perhaps staying dry in the far east of England. An afternoon of sunshine and showers to come across much of the country with perhaps some more persistent rain to come across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs of 13 to 20C.
Sunday Night
It remains damp across northern Scotland during the course of the evening and night. Elsewhere the showers become confined to the west during the evening before dying out tonight. Some early evening sunshine to come as the cloud tends to melt away leaving a dry night clear spells. Lows at 10 to 14C.
Monday
Just a few scattered showers this morning across Wales and England with some rain across northern Scotland. Fair and dry elsewhere with some sunshine. In the afternoon much of England and Wales looks essentially dry with sunny spells and just the odd shower. For Scotland and Northern Ireland expect more in the way of showers but most will be light. During the evening rain spills in across south west England then into Wales, Northern Ireland and western Scotland and north west England. Expect highs of 16 to 23C.
Tuesday
The far north of Scotland will be dry with some sunshine. Outbreaks of rain in the west will spread in across the rest of the United Kingdom this morning and will be heavy in many areas in the afternoon. In the evening the heavy rain now across northern England spreads north into Scotland by tonight. To the south it becomes drier but stays cloudy with some drizzle across Wales and northern England. Expect highs of 15 to 20C.
