Wednesday
With low pressure in control, it's another unsettled, blustery day to come across Britain. Any rain in the far north of Scotland soon clears then for much of the United Kingdom expect a fair amount of cloud, some sunshine and showers. Not too many showers though for East Anglia, south east England and eastern and Scotland while a number of the showers in the north and west will be locally heavy. Late in the afternoon there is the threat of some more persistent rain in the far south east. Quite a brisk west wind will prevail today from the south west and will be strong around western coasts. Highs of 16 to 23C.

Wednesday Night
During the evening just a few scattered showers left across southern Wales and central England with a line of rain from central Scotland into Northern Ireland. Some decent sunshine will be found in many areas. Overnight a few showers will affect western coastal locations and some rain may push back up into south east England. Dry across the remainder of the United Kingdom. Lows at 10 to 14C.

Thursday
For central and eastern parts of England and Scotland it will be a dry morning with good sunny spells while a number of showers will be found in the west. In the afternoon some heavy showers will develop across the northern half of Britain while an area of heavier and steady rain spreads into south west England. This heavy rain then pushes north east into central and the eastern parts of England. In the first part of the night this clears into the North Sea. Expect highs of 15 to 22C.

Friday
A very unsettled day to come across all areas with frequent heavy and possibly thundery showers. Longer spells of rain are likely across Scotland. For Northern Ireland it looks dry and mostly sunny in the afternoon with few showers as well across Kent. By the end of the evening the showers and rain will have died away leaving most places dry overnight and with light winds some mist is likely to develop by morning. Expect highs of 16 to 21C.
