Sunday
Foe the Midlands, East Anglia and the south east of England and much of southern England, it's a dry morning. Any early sunshine soon gives way to cloud. The rest of Britain will be overcast, wet and windy with outbreaks of rain. This will be heavy. Here it stays wet and windy into the afternoon with the rain into the West Midlands in the afternoon. It will remain dry across East Anglia, the eastern Midlands and the south east. Winds will touch gale force around exposed western coasts. Highs of 14 to 18C but up to 23C in the drier south east.
Sunday Night
This evening an area of light to moderate rain will stretch from north east England into the Midlands and south west England. This looks to become heavier as it moves into East Anglia and the south east in the night. Showers and longer spells of rain will affect western Scotland, fair and dry elsewhere across the United Kingdom. Lows at 11 to 15C.
Monday
The morning sees the steady rain clear from East Anglia and the south east. Showers will affect western parts of Scotland, England and Wales but some sunshine too. Eastern areas should have a fine, dry and mostly sunny morning. Most parts of Britain are at risk of a few scattered showers but most of these will generally light with some good dry, sunnier periods in between the showers. Any showers will become confined to western coasts this evening and tonight. The bulk of Britain will be fine with clear spells. Expect highs of 16 to 20C.
Tuesday
An unsettled day again with plenty of showers developing in most parts of the United Kingdom. Many of the showers will be heavy, especially across Scotland and western Britain while few showers are likely across parts of East Anglia and south east England. Heavier rain is forecast to spread in across Northern Ireland and Scotland overnight. Expect highs of 16 to 20C.
