Saturday
A wet morning to come across much of northern England, the Midlands eastern Wales, the western Midlands and southwest England. Some heavy bursts of rain at times, especially on the hills where there will also be fog. A drier morning across east Anglia and southeast England, but rather cloudy with some spots of rain at times later on. Drier through western Wales, northwest England, the far southwest and the south of Ireland with some sunny spells at times. More cloud and outbreaks of rain spilling into western Scotland and Northern Ireland where it will also be windy. The afternoon sees further rain through Northern Ireland and Scotland western Scotland, but the east of Scotland should be fair. The rain in the afternoon through northeast England, the Midlands and central southern England eventually reaching the southeast by late afternoon. Becoming drier and brighter over Wales, southwest England and northwest England with some cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 17 to 22C.
Saturday Night
Rain lingers over East Anglia and the southeast this evening and may well last over parts of Essex and the far southeast until the early hours of the morning. Elsewhere rain will be fading from western Scotland, although it may trouble the northwest throughout. For all other places the night is going to be a dry one with some clear spells and mainly light winds, although these will be strong across northern Scotland. later in the night thicker cloud returns to western Ireland bringing the risk of some rain here. Lows at 11 to 15C.
Sunday
A bright start to the day over many central and eastern areas of England and Scotland with some good spells of sunshine to come. However, cloud is going to be thickening to the west with rain over parts of southern and western Ireland. It will not be long before more rain arrives in the far southwest of England, most of it only light and patchy, with a few showers for western Scotland. The afternoon sees some outbreaks of rain over much of southwest England and west Wales as well as Ireland and western Scotland. Cloudier skies further east but the far east of England may hold onto a few bright spells until late in the afternoon. The winds increases in the west too becoming gale force across exposed hills and coasts of Ireland. Tops near 22C in the sunshine, 16 or 17C in the cloud.
Monday
Monday looks set to be a rather mixed day over all parts of the country. Some eastern parts of England start the day dry, but then thicker cloud and some outbreaks of showery rain will be spreading from the west. These will be moderate at times on western coasts of Wales and southwest England and will the spread east through the rest of Scotland, northern England, the Midlands and southern England in the afternoon. A brief spell of drier, but breezy weather then follows to the west before more rain arrives in Ireland later. Tops at 17 to 19C.
