Friday
A windy, chilly, blustery day to come with outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain across Scotland and north east England in the morning will be spreading south into East Anglia sweeping down into Wales and northern England. Gales will affect North Sea coasts. For the rest of the United Kingdom it's an essentially dry day to come with occasional large amounts of cloud, sunnier spells and a few widely scattered, mainly light showers. Highs around 12 to 16C for most places.

Friday Night
It remains windy across the north and east of the United Kingdom through this evening and tonight. A few showers will be dotted around the eastern coasts of Scotland and England with a few across western Scotland too. Elsewhere some early evening sunshine to come then mostly clear overnight and dry. Expect lows of 8 to 12C.

Saturday
. Breezy but less windy today. Outbreaks of rain will affect Scotland today and this turns heavier in the afternoon. Some light rain also comes into north west England and Northern Ireland. With high pressure over the country the remainder of the United Kingdom looks mainly dry with variable amounts of cloud and sunnier spells. A dry evening everywhere then rain comes into Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs around 14 to 18C.

Sunday
The winds become gusty in the west as rain spreads into Northern Ireland and western Scotland in the morning. The rest of the country should have a fine morning with sunny spells. In the afternoon the rain turns heavy and spreads into al but East Anglia, The East Midlands and south east England. Heavy rain sweeps east in the evening and clears western areas followed by showers. Highs around 14 to 18C.
