Sunday
After a fair start to the day over eastern England and Scotland, the emphasis is going to be on increasing cloud through Sunday morning. rain will be spilling through Ireland, with a few spots of drizzle affecting western Scotland by lunchtime. The afternoon then sees some heavy spells of rain crossing into western Wales and eventually northwest England and southwest Scotland by the end of the afternoon. For much of the rest of England it becomes cloud and windy with some drizzle on western facing slopes. The best of any sunshine for northeast Scotland and southeast England. Highs at 22C in the southeast, nearer 16C in northern Scotland.

Sunday Night
A wet and windy night to come over much of the country as low pressure passes to the west of Scotland. A band of cloud and rain will be pushing eastwards and this may be heavy at times across northern parts of England and southwest Scotland. The rain should clear from Ireland leaving it mainly dry here with a few showers on western coasts. The rain in the southeast of England should be light and patchy and some places may stay dry here. Lows of 10 to 12C.

Monday
Residual cloud and rain may linger through the southeast and along southern coasts of England for much of Monday, this bringing a few spots of drizzle at times.Elsewhere generally a dry day with a fair amount of cloud. There will be some showers here and there on western facing coasts, but some sunny spells coming through too. The best of any sunny spells over eastern Scotland and northeast England. Highs at 21C in southern England, 16C in the fresh north.

Tuesday
A fine start to the day over the east of the country and it is likely to be staying this way for much of the day. The sunshine is going to be making it very warm in the southeast too with tops here of 26C. Further west increasing amounts of cloud and stronger winds will bring rain to western coasts and hills, that heavy at times over Ireland and possibly western Scotland, but tending to become lighter as it moves inland. Highs of 21C in the west.
