Rain in the south east Fair, dry for most seiten=4 abk=focus

Tuesday
A windier day across much of England today and with the winds from the north east it will feel quite chilly. Largely cloudy as well this morning with rain expected across Kent and Sussex. A lot of cloud too for much of Scotland and Northern Ireland with a few sunnier spells towards the west. In the afternoon the rain becomes heavier across south east England with a few showers for East Anglia. Still quite a bit of cloud across the rest of the United Kingdom with a few sunnier spells at times, mainly in the far west. Highs of 15 to 18C.

Tuesday Night
Quite windy across England, especially the south east. This evening looks wet from south east England across to Hampshire. The cloud becomes more broken across northwest and southwest England along with Wales. Cloudy elsewhere. Overnight the rain clears from the south east while central and eastern parts of England along with Scotland will stay cloudy with some clear spells in the west. Expect lows of 9 to 14C.

Wednesday
. Windy, especially along the channel coasts today and here there may be some patchy bits of light rain. The remainder of the United Kingdom will be dry. Eastern areas will again be prone to a good deal of cloud while the west will have the best of the sunshine. Most places will be dry during the evening and night with some cloud and clear spells. Still quite breezy in the south. Highs around 15 to 19C.

Thursday
A brisk east wind will affect the southern coast of England but not as windy inland. All parts of the United Kingdom will be fair and dry. Some early fog patches across Scotland and north west England will clear to sunny spells. Many areas could see some decent sunshine but amounts of cloud are hard to assess. It stays dry during the evening and night with some mist and fog developing where skies remain mostly clear. A cooler night too with a touch of frost in the north. Highs around 15 to 19C.
