Fair and dry Winds moderating seiten=4 abk=focus

Thursday
A brisk east wind will affect the southern coast of England but not as windy inland. All parts of the United Kingdom will be fair and dry but quite a cold start in the north with a touch of frost in places. Some early fog patches across Scotland and north west England will clear to sunny spells. Many areas could see some decent sunshine but amounts of cloud are hard to assess. Best of the sunshine will always be to the west. Feeling chilly in the breeze but pleasant in the sun with highs of 15 to 20C.

Thursday Night
Less breezy for this evening and tonight. A fine and dry evening with good spells of early sunshine. Overnight expect quite a lot of cloud but some breaks across Scotland and north west England may allow some mist and patchy frost to develop. Expect lows generally down to 9 to 14C but down to 3 to 4C in some spots in the north.

Friday
. Confidence is not high but there is a risk of some light rain in the extreme south west of England today. The bulk of the United Kingdom looks dry with variable amounts of cloud and sunnier spells. Across Northern Ireland the sunshine should be unbroken. Into the evening and night there is a risk of some light rain across Wales and south west England. Fine and dry across the rest of Britain. Highs at 15 to 20C.

Saturday
Saturday we expect two areas of mainly light rain to come in. One across western Scotland and western parts of Northern Ireland and the other into south east England. In between it should be a fine, dry day with good sunny spells and just some occasional cloud. In the evening the rain in the south east may turn a bit heavier as it moves into East Anglia as well. This then turns light and patchy overnight. The rain in the north west is expected to die away with the bulk of Britain to have a dry night with some mist and fog development.
