A breezy day across Scotland today. Much of Britain will have a dry day though some patchy light rain may affect southern Wales and a few showers are likely near western parts of Scotland. The rest of Britain will be dry and bright with sunnier spells and occasional cloud. In the afternoon more cloud though may affect central and southern England. Expect highs of 14 to 20C north to south.
Wednesday Night
Expect a few scattered showers across western parts of England with rain across northern Scotland this evening. A lot of cloud as well across central and southern England. Overnight the rain persists across northern Scotland with the rest of the United Kingdom fair and dry with variable cloud and some fog patches. Expect lows generally down to 7 to 2C.
Thursday
. Outbreaks of rain will continue to affect the northern half of Scotland through the day. The rest of Britain will be dry with good sunny spells in the morning but more cloud may affect the north and west in the afternoon. Rain will affect much of Scotland and Northern Ireland this evening and tonight. Dry across England and Wales with clear spells and some mist will develop by morning. Highs at 14 to 20C.

Little overall change is expected in the weather for today. For Scotland and Northern Ireland outbreaks of rain will fall. England and Wales will be staying dry and bright with sunnier spells and early mist patches will clear by mid morning. More cloudy though up across north west England. Tonight the bulk of the United Kingdom will be dry with varying cloud and clear spells though drizzly rain will affect western Scotland. Highs of 14 to 23C.
