Thursday
For eastern Wales, central, eastern, central and southern parts of England it's a chilly but fine, sunny morning with early mist clearing. Here it stays dry for the afternoon with sunny spells but a bit more cloud. The north and west will have more in the way of cloud along with some light showers though rain will affect western Scotland. Expect highs of 14 to 20C north to south.

Thursday Night
Outbreaks of light rain and drizzly will affect much of Scotland during the evening and the night. For England, Wales and Northern Ireland it should be a fine, dry evening ahead of a dry night with clear spells and some patchy fog where skies remain clear. Expect lows generally down to 8 to 12C.

Friday
. Little overall change is expected in the weather for today. For Scotland outbreaks of rain will fall but much of this will be light with the east drier and brighter. Northern Ireland, England and Wales will be staying dry and bright with sunnier spells and early mist patches will clear by mid morning. More cloudy though up across north west England. Tonight the bulk of the United Kingdom will be dry with varying cloud and clear spells though drizzly rain will affect western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs at 14 to 20C.

Saturday
Outbreaks of rain are likely again across western Scotland and Northern Ireland during the course the day. Eastern Scotland looks dry with some sunshine at times. For England and Wales it will remain dry. Patchy mist clears with some sunshine and varying amounts of cloud to come during the day. Rain is expected to linger across Scotland and Northern Ireland into the evening and night with England and Wales set to remain dry. Warmer in the south today with overall temperatures of 15 to 23C north to south.
