Tuesday
. Not too much of a change is expected in the weather today. The northern half of the country to include Wales, northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland will be cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain. To the south across central and southern England it will remain dry and bright with the best of the sunshine in the south east after any early mist soon disperses. Some patchy rain will linger in the north overnight while the southern half of Britain is dry with clear spells and occasional cloud. High temperatures of 15 to 22C.
Wednesday
Most parts of Britain will be rather cloudy this morning but mainly dry except for some patchy, light rain across North Wales and northern England. This tends to fizzle out during the afternoon and the cloud should thin and break at times to give a few sunnier spells. Most places retain a good deal of cloud by night but it looks dry and a mild night is expected underneath the cloud cover. Expect tops of 15 to 20C.
