Tuesday
It is going to be a dry day again across much of southern England and Wales. There will be cloud around, but this is going to be broken with sunny spells coming through, the best of then through southern counties of England and Wales. Little change is expected into the afternoon. For northern England and Northern Ireland there will be more cloud and the threat of some drizzle, especially over western facing slopes and hills. Scotland will be cloudy with a tendency for some outbreaks of patchy rain, more persistent over the Grampians. Highs at 22C in the sunshine over southern England, 12C in northern Scotland

Tuesday Night
Overnight there will be cloud across the northern half of the country. There will be some outbreaks of rain over western facing hills of northern England and Northern Ireland. More persistent rain through central and western Scotland, although this is probably only going to be light. To the south it should be mainly dry and rather cloudy. However, there will be some breaks in the cloud and these will allow some mist or fog patches to form here and there, mainly through eastern Wales and the far south of England. Lows of 8C under clearer skies, more generally 11 or 12C.

Wednesday
Little change in the weather through today. High pressure again gives a dry day through southern parts of England and Wales, with the cloud breaking to allow a few sunny spells to come through. More northern areas of England and Northern Ireland have thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain, these affecting southern Scotland too. The cloud breaking over central and northern Scotland and feeling cold here too. Highs at 13 to 19C.

Thursday
The wind turns into the northwest through today, bringing a few showers over eastern Scotland and northeast England as well as East Anglia. More western areas are going to be dry with sunny spells, the best of the sunshine over southern Wales and the southern coasts of England. A cooler day at 10C in northern Scotland, 17C in southern England.
