Sunday
A cooler day for many day and this will be down to more of a wind from the north west. Much of the United Kingdom should be fair and dry. Best of the sunshine today is likely to be across northern England and Scotland. More cloudy across Wales and southern England and some e light, drizzly rain will linger across southern Wales and south west England during the day. Later much of this tends to fizzle out later in the afternoon as it brightens up. Expect highs of 13 to 18C north to south.

Sunday Night
For much of the United Kingdom it's a fine day evening to come with clear spells and patchy cloud though a few light showers will be found across northern Scotland and generally more cloud here as well. Overnight all parts will be dry and mostly clear. With light winds a number of fog patches may develop and some of these may be locally dense across the Midlands and eastern Wales. Cold across Scotland with a risk of a frost. Expect lows generally down to 5 to 10C but expect 2 to 4C across Scotland.

Monday
For the bulk of Britain it's a fine, dry day to come with any fog patches across the Midlands taking some time to clear away. A cold start too across inland Scotland with a frost. Lots of sunshine to come through the day with more cloud across northern Scotland. A dry evening and night for much of Britain with some mist and fog developing by morning but rain will spread in across the northern half of Scotland. High temperatures of 11 to 18C.

Tuesday
Today a front will spread heavy rain into northern Scotland in the morning with light rain coming into and Northern Ireland and southern Scotland during the afternoon. For England and Wales high pressure dominates giving all parts a fine, dry day with good spells of sunshine and any fog clears in the morning. There is a risk of some rain across the northern half of Britain tonight but to the south expect a dry evening and night with clear spells allowing some mist and fog to form before morning. Expect tops of 12 to 19C.
