Tuesday
A bright start to the morning over most parts of the British isles. There will be some morning mist and fog patches around, but these will be clearing away quickly. There will then be good spells of sunshine for much of England and eastern Wales. However, thicker cloud affects Scotland and Ireland, with the risk of some rain in the northwest of Scotland. The afternoon sees the winds increasing through Scotland, and cloud with a few spots of rain and drizzle here, mainly in the north and west. ireland becomes cloudier too, as does Wales, althoguh it should be dry here. For England the afternoon stays dry wituh sunny spells and temperatures at 14 to 17C.
Tuesday Night
A chilly start to the nigh through more southern areas of the country under clear skies. Cloud is going to be increasing here though as a front crosses the north and so it will probably not be a chilly as last night. To the north and west the cloud is thickest and there is the chance of some patchy drizzle over Scotland and also the Pennines. All other parts of the country should be staying dry,. Lows will be near 6C in tuhe clear skies over southern England at first more typically 10C in the cloud.
Wednesday
A cloudier day for most of the country on Wednesday. There will be some spots of drizzle affecting the south of Scotland, northern England and the Midlands as well as Wales. Quuite misty in places here, and some parts could have a typically damp autumn day. Brighter skies for the west of Scotland and Ireland wituh sunny spells coming through here and there could be some brighter weather over East Anglia and southeast England too. Highs of 12C in the damper places, nearer 16C in the sunshine.
Thursday
On Thursday the cloud and rain edges further westwards as an east or northeast wind picks up over the south of England. There will be some patchy rain across northern England and Wales as well as the north and east of Scotland. Brighter skies for the south of England with sunny spells here, and some sunshine to come across Ireland and western Scotland too. Highs will be to 13C in the cloud, 16C elsewhere.
