Friday
A cold start to the day across Scotland with a slight frost inland. Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northern England into the Midlands it will be a fine, dry day with good spells of sunshine. Across Wales and across the south of England it's a cloudy morning with some light rain and drizzle. By the afternoon though this will have cleared from the north as it turns dry and sunnier. Expect highs of 10 to 15C with light winds.

Friday Night
All parts of the United Kingdom will have a fine evening but it will become quite chilly. Overnight it remains dry across the country and under mostly clear skies it will be a cold night with a risk of a frost and some dense patches of fog may develop across Wales and central parts of England. Expect lows generally down 0 to 5C.

Saturday
So a cold, frosty start this morning in many areas. Locally dense fog patches across the Midlands and eastern Wales may be slow to clear. Lots of sunshine around across Britain today with all places dry. More cloud may be found near North Sea coasts and across East Anglia and Kent. Overnight some rain may creep into north west Scotland. The bulk of the country will again be mostly clear, cold and misty with a frost inland. Some fog patches may again be dense. High temperatures of 9 to 14C.

Sunday
Today a front with outbreaks of moderate rain will move across Scotland and Northern Ireland and this pushes into northern England. For the rest of England and Wales high pressure dominates giving all parts a fine, dry day with good spells of sunshine and any fog clears in the morning. The rain becomes confined to a narrow band across the North Midlands and Wales tonight. Dry to the north and south. Expect tops of 10 to 14C.
