An area of rain across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland is expected to move south into southern Scotland. For England and Wales expect a fine, dry day and after a cold start any mist clears top sunny spells. More cloud does come in across north west England and western Wales during the afternoon. Expect highs of 11 to 14C with light winds.
Sunday Night
This evening rain clears northern Scotland and is to lie across southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. Here it turns a bit heavier and tends to linger during the course of the night, perhaps reaching the north of Wales. To the north and south it will be dry but no as cold with a good deal of cloud. Expect lows generally down 5 and 9C.
Monday
Cloudy today with rain across Scotland. Morning rain across northern England should clear. Much of England and Wales should be fair and dry with a good deal of cloud and occasional sunnier spells. It becomes windier tonight. Some rain this evening for Northern Ireland and northern Scotland but this clears overnight as some rain creeps into Cornwall. Dry for the rest of Britain but to breezy for frost. High temperatures of 10 to 14C.
Tuesday
Quite a windy day across the United Kingdom. Outbreaks of rain across Cornwall are expected to spread into Wales, north west England and all of south west England during the afternoon as it becomes heavier. The rest of Britain will remain fair and dry with the best of the sunshine in the far east and across Scotland. The rain spreads north into all parts of the country during the evening and night. Expect tops of 10 to 15C.
