Monday
Cloudy and increasingly windy today with rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland for much of the day. Some of this will be heavy in the west. Morning rain across northern England should clear. Largely dry across Wales with some drizzly rain near western coasts. The bulk of England will have a fair, dry day with day with varying cloud and sunnier spells. Expect highs of 10 to 14C with light winds.

Monday Night
Quite a windy evening and night to come across the United Kingdom. We think rain will be found across Scotland, Northern Ireland, western Wales and south west England. Overnight the rain is expected to turn heavy and should affect mainly Northern Ireland, Wales and the West Country with light rain across northern Scotland. The rest of Britain will be fair and dry albeit cloudy. Expect lows generally down to 7 to 12C.

Tuesday
Quite a windy day across the United Kingdom. Outbreaks of heavy rain is forecast across Northern Ireland, western parts of England and Scotland along with Wales. During the afternoon this area of heavy rain is expected to slowly push east into most areas as it turns drier and brighter in the far west. During the evening and night the slow process of clearing will continue but the rain may linger in the far east. Central and western areas look dry with clear spells. High temperatures of 10 to 14C.

Wednesday
Not so windy today but the area of rain across eastern parts of England and Scotland may drift back to the west into central and eastern areas. This rain could be quite heavy. Further west it looks drier and brighter with just a few showers across Wales, south west England and Northern Ireland. Western Scotland may have the best of the sunshine today. During the night the heavy rain shifts north into Scotland as it dries up across southern England. Expect tops of 10 to 15C.
