Mainly dry Remaining quite mild seiten=4 abk=focus

Wednesday
Quite a lot of cloud to come across much of Britain this morning. There will be a good deal of dry weather about but some light, patchy drizzle will be found in the southwest and around coastal Wales and much of Scotland. During the afternoon some drizzle will persist in these areas but across inland parts of Wales and England skies will brighten as the cloud thins to give some sunshine. Another unseasonably mild afternoon with highs of 16 to 20C.

Wednesday Night
During the evening rain is expected across the north of Scotland. The rest of the United Kingdom should br fair and dry with clear spells. Overnight some light rain and drizzle is expected across parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. The rest of Britain will be staying dry with variable amounts of low cloud, some coastal mist and clear spells. Expect lows down to 10 to 15C.

Thursday
Another windy day in the north and west. For Scotland and Northern Ireland a front will keep it quite damp with spells of rain. England and Wales will be fair, dry, bright and warm with low cloud breaking to sunnier spells and with above normal temperatures. Through the evening and night we are likely to see the rain pep up and this is expected to linger across Scotland and Northern Ireland, perhaps edging into Cumbria later. Expect highs of 15 to 20C.

Friday
Friday see gales developing in the west. Heavy rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland is expected through the day. Rain edges in across south west England in the afternoon. The remainder of Britain looks fair and dry but with a good deal of cloud. The rain then spreads in across northern England, Wales and all of south west England in the evening then into the Midlands overnight. As it does so it turns dry across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Expect highs of 15 to 20C.
