Sunday
A wet and windy morning across much of the United Kingdom with heavy spells of rain. This will be particularly heavy across Wales, northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with a risk of local flooding. Gales will affect the Welsh coasts and the western and southern coasts of England with gusts to 60-65 mph possible. In the afternoon the heavy rain clears Wales and central and southern England as it turns sunnier with some heavy, blustery showers. Elsewhere the heavy rain remains, especially across northern England, Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland. A cooler day with highs of 10 to 14C but up to 16C in the south east.

Sunday Night
During the evening rain the wind will moderate but overnight they strengthen again in the south west. A batch of heavy showers will push into much of Wales and the south west this evening and tonight as the heavy rain becomes confined to the north of Scotland. The rest of Britain looks essentially dry with clear spells. Expect lows down to 5 to 9C.

Monday
Another windy day in the north and west. For Scotland and Northern Ireland it looks damp with spells of rain. Across western parts of England and Wales expect a number of showers. Central and eastern areas will be mainly dry with some cloud and sunny spells. Rain and drizzle will then spread into all parts during the evening and the night and will be heaviest in the west with a lot of fog over the hills. Expect highs of 9 to 12C.

Tuesday
Wet and windy this morning with heavy rain and heavy showers across Wales, Northern Ireland and south west England. In the afternoon the rain will be across southern England but this then clears as heavy showers affect western parts of Britain and Scotland. A number of heavy showers will persist in the west in the evening and night with the rest of Britain dry and mostly clear. Expect highs of 9 to 14C.
