Monday
Still windy across Scotland but the gale swill moderate by the afternoon. Outbreaks of mainly light rain are expected across Scotland and northern England. To the south it's a dry morning with some sunshine but with a lot of cloud. In the afternoon outbreaks of light rain will move in across western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England. To the east it remains fair and dry. Monday Night
During the evening the rain in the west spreads eastward and is going to turn heavier. Overnight it's a wet start for most of Britain but before morning most of the rain should be across eastern parts of England and Scotland. As the rain clears, lots of showers pile in from the west, driven east on a brisk west wind. Expect lows down to 5 to 9C.

Tuesday
A windy, blustery day to come across all parts of the United Kingdom with frequent, heavy showers that may be accompanied by thunder and hail. These will be interspersed with some sunshine at times. Lots of showers to come again into the evening but overnight these should become confined mainly to Northern Ireland and to western parts of England, Wales and Scotland. Dry across central and eastern areas but too much wind for a frost to form. Expect highs of 8 to 14C.

Wednesday
Little change is expected today with low pressure over the country keeping it unsettled, windy and quite showery. Many of the showers are again going to be heavy, perhaps mixed with thunder or hail. Tonight some light rain is expected across Scotland and northern England with Wales and southern England fair and dry. Expect highs of 8 to 12C.
